Designed for cars with low hood clearance — Vettes, Camaros, etc. These brackets work great on most vehicles with a wide engine compartment-Trucks, 50-60’s cars, etc. These brackets are designed for 1987 and later cast iron heads including the popular VORTEC heads. VORTEC heads use 5/16″ intake bolts that point straight down.

Alternator bracket available via option below. Alternator Bracket Part# is 234L. Alternator Bracket is not included by default.

Brackets require double groove water pump, triple groove crank and single groove power steering pulleys. If no p/s then double groove water and crank pulley. The bracket is designed to mount Sanden 508 / SD5H14 and 709 / SD7H15 compressors.
Metal finish, needs to be painted.

A short water pump will sit up against the timing chain cover, a long water pump will have a one inch gap between the rear of the pump and the timing chain cover.
