The flexible duct we offer is designed to fit over a 2" round or oval outlet. This hose will not fit anything larger. If you have a larger outlet, IE: 2-1/4", you will need to use our 2-1/2" flexible duct hose and fasten it down with screws, tie straps, or a clamp. We only offer a few select duct sizes that are most commonly used with aftermarket air conditioning systems. The only size duct hose we sell is what is listed on our website.
Duct hose is measured stretched out. When the duct hose is installed into a vehicle you want to stretch the hose so the air can flow without resistance. If the duct hose is long and droopy the air flow will be deviated due to the path of least resistance being blocked, which will cause the vent pressure to be low.
