The inside system includes five vent outlets, and two outlets for defrost. The vent setup will put four vents to the right (passenger side) of the steering column and one vent on the left side of the column. The controls are contained in the panel that mounts under the dash board. The system will not require any cutting to the vehicle other than to the firewall which will need four holes (1-1/4" Diameter) for the heater and A/C hoses, and a 3/4" drain tube hole. The system comes with four grommets to allow the hoses to pass through the firewall without getting damaged. This kit can be used with a Ford or Chevy Engine. We will include the correct brackets for your setup.

The kit includes:

  • Heat air defrost evaporator. This Evaporator does not have vents for floor heat.
  • Expansion valve
  • Sanden style compressor full of double end capped PAG oil with a v-belt clutch assembly
  • Compressor mount kit
  • Receiver drier with drier straps
  • 44-1622 superflow condenser with condenser mount brackets
  • R-134a hose kit with fittings, and O-rings
  • High low binary safety switch
  • All necessary mounting hardware

This system requires five wires to be hooked up at the time of installation, and takes approx. 8-10 hours to install. This is the easiest aftermarket A/C system to install into this model Ford truck. The kit is designed to use R-134a refrigerant.
The evaporator unit is manufactured in the USA by Nostalgic AC. The kit will require R-134a refrigerant, a fan for the condenser if the radiator fan is not sufficient, and pulleys for Chevy engines. If you need a different size condenser please specify the size in the checkout section. The compressor will come with a double V-belt clutch unless a different setup is requested. Chevy engine pulleys and a radiator fan are not included. A fan and fan shroud should be used on the radiator, or a sufficient electric fan. The Chevy engine setup requires a double groove water pump pulley, and a triple groove crank pulley. Please specify in checkout if you have a long or short water pump and if the alternator is on the driver or passenger side. A short water pump will sit up against the timing chain cover, a long water pump will have a one inch gap between the rear of the pump and the timing chain cover
