Complete a/c kit for a Ford Falcon with a six cylinder or a V-8 engine. The evaporator unit is designed to fit under the dash without interferring with the foot space of the driver or passenger. We will include the correct bracket for your engine, select from the drop down menu above. If your Falcon has a six cylinder motor it will not require any extra pulleys. The compressor mount bracket will require an alternator. The compressor mounts on the lower passenger side of the engine. The compressor will have a double groove clutch pulley. One pulley on the clutch will run on the stock pulleys on the engine. The second compressor pulley will route around the alternator, this setup eliminates any needs for more pulleys. If you have a 289 engine the comrpessor bracket will mount on top of the engine, driver side. The 289 bracket will fit 1964-1966 289 CID engines, if you have an early model V-8 the bracket will need some modifications to fit. The system uses R-134a refrigerant.
The kit includes all the major components to add air to a Falcon:
• Sanden style compressor with V-belt clutch and PAG oil
• 289-302 Ford V-8 or 170/200 V-6 compressor bracket with mount hardware
• UD-190 underdash evaporator unit with expansion valve, controls, and mounting hardware.
• Standard O-ring drier with mounting strap
• 44-1418 superflow condenser with mounting hardware
• R-134a hose kit (see contents)
• High low pressure switch
• Directions
This is a complete a/c system that will include all the parts necessary to add a/c except the refrigerant to charge it. A radiator fan or a condenser fan may be needed depending on your current setup. The evaporator unit is manufactured by Nostalgic Air Parts, Inc. in the USA.
All of our complete kits come with everything needed to install Air Conditioning in your vehicle except for Pulleys (sold separately). All kits will require a 3 Groove Crank Pulley (If using V-Belts). For Chevy Small Block and Big Block Engines, you will also need a 2 Groove Water Pump Pulley (If using V-Belts).
