1973 – 1979 Ford F-Series and 1978 – 1979 Bronco heat air and defrost system. This system is designed to fit into the truck where the stock heater box normally mounts. The A/C / heater uses its own blower motor, the stock blower motor assembly needs to be removed. The system will fit against the firewall behind the glove box, the glove box does not have to be altered. The vents have to be cut into the dash, just as the original Ford truck was designed. The kit can use the factory controls, if you do not have the factory controls we can include rotary knob controls. This kit will give the truck the original look of factory A/C, as it cools the inside of the cab without any problem. The kit will include a fresh air block off plate for the passenger side kick panel, and a block off plate for the firewall hole. There are four hoses that need to be routed through the firewall, we include grommets to protect the rubber. A drain tube also needs to be run through the firewall.
Kit is available with come with either cable controls (Default Option) or you have the option to send us your controls to modify. Several upgrade options are available.
The kit is complete and includes the following:
- Evaporator kit with expansion valve and mounting hardware, grommets.
- Duct hose and vents

- Black O-ring drier with drier straps
- 14 x 24 Condenser with condenser mount kit
- Sanden Style A/C compressor with clutch
- Compressor mount kit (to fit your Ford engine)
- HI / Lo binary pressure switch
- Heater control valve

If you prefer a different size condenser please specify the size in the checkout section. If you do not want to cut into the dash to install the vents, we can provide underdash vents. If you would like to keep the factory heater box please see our complete indash kit: CK-7379-1FD. The evaporator unit is manufactured in the USA, by Nostalgic AC in Ocala Florida.
In order to use the stock controls you will need to mail them to us so we can adapt them to our system. Please specify the year and engine size of your truck during the checkout section.

All of our complete kits come with everything needed to install Air Conditioning in your vehicle except for Pulleys (sold separately).
