These Brackets are designed for 1987 and later cast iron heads including the popular VORTEC heads. VORTEC heads use 5/16" intake bolts that point straight down. Will clear valve covers up to 3 in. tall.
Alternator bracket available via option below. Alternator Bracket Part# is 228L. Alternator Bracket is not included by default.
A short water pump will sit up against the timing chain cover, a long water pump will have a one inch gap between the rear of the pump and the timing chain cover.
